The Ardèche can be descended between 1 April and 31 October - For your part, wear sportswear appropriate to the season, sports shoes or water shoes with a good grip, a swimming costume and a towel. If you wear glasses, fit them with a cord. In summer, bring sun cream and a hat. - You should arrive thirty minutes before the start time, to give yourself time to prepare. - You'll also appreciate having cereal bars and water with you. - To be able to canoe down the Ardèche, you must be able to swim more than 25 metres, be over seven years old or be accompanied by a state-certified instructor.
